Day 05 - Feb. 17 - Sunday - For the bloodshed throughout the Land, have mercy on us!

     We pray for the conversion of hearts to the Truth.  That is, we pray for abortionists, pregnant mothers, and for our own conversion to the Truth.  "Let my heart be converted ENTIRELY to Thee, O Lord!"


     The two abortionists at 51 N. Fifth Avenue sometimes try to hide what they are doing.  Within the last year, several women have called both Dr. Morrison and Dr. Kothandaraman to inquire about having an abortion.  Both offices confirmed that they would be happy to schedule an appointment at the 51 N. Fifth Avenue offices.


     Still, occasionally someone will say they were not aware that these are abortionists.


     In mid-June of 2012, I conducted some Internet searches on Google and discovered the following links and information.

"Her Smart Choice" came up in my Google Searches for abortion at 51 N. Fifth Avenue., Arcadia, CA 91006.  When I clicked through to the link, I found in the FAQ this Question and Answer:

Will there be protestors at the office?
There is no reason to expect protestors but the office does not have control over their absence or presence.

     I looked on Yelp and discovered that Yelp lists "Her Smart Choice" as being at 51 N. Fifth Avenue, Arcadia, CA 91006. Suite 204.  The doctor at Suite 204 is Prema Kothandaraman, MD.

      "Her Smart Choice" website advertising for abortions includes this instruction for the women whom they want to come to their location to have an abortion performed:  

"As a courtesy we ask that you do not bring children to our facility."

I wonder how they are able to perform the abortion . . . . 

     Interesting fact:  The domain name "Her Smart Choice" expires on September 11, 2012.  Did somebody purchase a ten-year lease on the first Anniversary of 9/11?

     According to the same site:

"Hersmartchoice- A pregnancy termination clinic provides abortion services, gynecologic services, obstetric services, STD testing services, 2nd trimester abortion services with facility of private and confidential treatment in locations Los Angeles."

     On the Yellowpages.com website under "Her Smart Choice" there is a review naming Dr. Kothadaraman dated April 17, 2012, that reads, in part:

 The doctor Kothandaraman is very friendly and very experienced. The ladies working behind the counter are very helpful and patient. The rooms are clean and there are many patients there.

I guess many patients don't write reviews because this clinic's service includes abortion and they want to keep their visits confidential

     Another review on the same site mentioned Dr. Kothadaraman on April 18, 2012, and reads, in part:

I am so grateful to the doctor Kothandaraman, who helps the poor and give me the expensive abortion pill for free.

      Woman's First Choice is another abortion advertising web-site that has links to Suite 204, 51 Fifth Ave., Arcadia, CA 91006.  It advertises that it is close to the freeway, located in Arcadia, and that a female OBGYN will assist with "early or late" pregnancies.

     The first lie on this website is on the home page, where it states:  

"Pleasant, anxiety-free experience - Guaranteed."  

     Since when can any abortion be described as a guaranteed pleasant, anxiety-free experience?

According to this website's frequently asked questions:

What are some of the possible side effects of abortion?

Medical abortion is a safe procedure done at the doctor's office. Allprocedures and medications are provided by a board certified OB/Gyn physician who will take the utmost care. In extreme rare cases the following symptoms might happen. If you experience any of these symptoms, please call the office for further care.

• Cramping of the uterus or pelvic pain
• Diarrhea
• Headache
• Dizziness
• Fatigue
• Abdominal pain and cramping
• Nausea & Vomiting

     However, as the pregnant reader is drawn into the website, on another page with a lengthy description of medical abortions, the website states:

     On this second page, down towards the bottom, the website further states:

The most common side effects of medical abortion are caused by misoprostol. In addition to cramps and bleeding, early side effects may include: headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, chills, or fatigue. If a woman experiences flu-like symptoms or abdominal pain more than 24 hours after using misoprostol, she is advised to call the clinic. Most women have cramps for several hours, and many pass blood clots as they are aborting. Some women may see the grayish gestational sac. However, the embryo will probably not be seen among the blood clots. At 49 days LMP, the size of the embryo will be about one-fifth of an inch. In an earlier pregnancy, it might be much smaller than that. Cramps and bleeding usually begin to ease after the embryonic tissue has been passed, but bleeding may last for one to two weeks after medical abortion.

      Another page informs the viewer that "Vacuum aspiration is an outpatient procedure performed at our clinic. The visit usually takes one to two hours. The procedure itself typically takes less than 15 minutes."

     I was surprised to see a tab labeled "Parenting Option" on this website.   Considering that a 15-minute (for the doctor) execution can bring in as much as $1,200, I shouldn't have been too surprised to find that there wasn't much time or energy devoted to encouraging the pregnant to parent their babies.  In fact, it seems they went out of their way to help the pregnant mother feel lonely, isolated, and like help was far, far away. 

      The information under that Parenting Option tab states only the following:

Parenting is demanding and can seem overwhelming to a woman who has found herself with an unplanned pregnancy. Many women do however choose this option and find that although challenging, they can still pursue many of their life goals and dreams.

     The Parenting Q & A page refers mothers to a location in San Juan Capistrano for assistance with parenting.  No mention is made of the Pregnancy Crisis Centers in Monrovia, Temple City, and other surrounding areas.  This page claims that the abortion center has "client advocates" who can assist with finding housing and other help.  Anyone who has actually seen one of these "client advocates" or received any such assistance is requested to contact us.

     The "More Information" link under the Parenting Option takes the pregnant reader to a page which has only four links to:

1. A Children's Hospital in Colorado, 
2. A Family & Home Network that looks wonderful but is based in Virginia, 
3. A Nemours website that provides services in Florida, Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, and 
4. A website that shows no last names, no phone numbers, and no locations.

     So the only parenting options presented by this website are located far, far away.  

     Will you help us pray for the women who are being manipulated by this website, by the abortionists at this location?  Can you understand why it is important for someone to be outside on the sidewalk who is encouraging to pregnant women in need of assistance?  We try to make ourselves available to provide information and links to LOCAL help and support.

     May YOUR humble prayers and loving heart be pleasing to God, who in His loving mercy may grant our humble petitions that He shed his grace on all concerned.

     The 51 N. Fifth Avenue, Arcadia, CA address is listed for Woman's First Choice on Yahoo, Superpages, Citysearch, Google Plus, YellowPages com, nwitimes, and JustDial, among others.  Please keep this in mind.
